As youngster growing up in Denham Springs, THE FISH heard the calling for a career in radio. He recorded radio shows on a crappy tape recorder, but unfortunately no radio stations were interested in a hiring a 9-year-old to spin Guns N' Roses. Years later he honed his skills at the drive thru window at a local fast food joint. Once he reached LSU, he decided it was time to give radio another shot, so he began work at the college radio station. After graduating with a degree in Mass Communication, he took a trip out west to manage three radio stations in New Mexico. He arrived back in Baton Rouge just in time for the launch of what would become Baton Rouge's ONLY source for new rock,  104 the X. He's worked his way up from grunt to afternoon drive DJ.  THE FISH believes in keeping an open mind for new music, so you'll find everything from Mike Patton (Faith No More, Tomahawk, Mr. Bungle, Peeping Tom) to 30 Seconds to Mars to Nine Inch Nails to Dream Theater in his cd collection.  In addition to his radio duties, THE FISH has produced/hosted the TV show Planet Buzz and served as on-air personality on UPN the Block.
